Accessibility
This site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as its working standard. That is a goal we test against, not a certification.
What is built in
- Real headings, landmarks and a skip link on every page
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline, including the menu and the video player
- Text and controls checked for color contrast. The brand mint is never used as text on a light background
- The video never plays on its own. It has captions on by default and a full text transcript
- Motion is limited, and it is switched off when your device asks for reduced motion
- Pages tested at phone, tablet and desktop widths and with the browser zoomed to 200 percent
Known limits
Portfolio screenshots are pictures of other companies' websites. Their text is described in alt text and captions, but the pictured sites' own accessibility is outside this site's control. The quote form is provided by Jotform, so how it works with screen readers and other assistive technology is partly up to Jotform; email works just as well. Testing continues, and problems found after launch will be fixed as part of normal care.
